Upcoming EVENTS

Wednesday Night Youth Group

Wednesday Nights our Teens, 6th-12th grade, meet together to worship our God, learn from His word and encourage one another through friendships in small groups.  This night is designed so every teen that comes knows the good news that Jesus brings to the world and how we should live in response to that Good news.  We also have some fun during our open gym time at 6:00 and our game time during Magnify.  This is a great way to get connected to other teens who will encourage you to be everything God has created you to be.  If you are in need of a ride, we have van and bus routes available in certain areas only. Contact our Youth Pastor, Ross Martello, if you would like more information. ross@eflint.org

Thursday Night Youth Outreach
Starting in September

Thursday Nights are filled with exciting games, sports, video games, music, café and more.  This night is designed for teens who are not sure about Church and who want to be able to check it out without having to sit through a whole church gathering.  Our night does consist of a short bible lesson where teens will hear about who Jesus is and why we should put our faith in Him.  It is a great place for friends to come and have a good time.  If you are in need of a ride, we have van routes available in certain areas only.  For more information contact our Youth Pastor Ross Martello.  ross@eflint.org

Youth Pastor

I am excited about being here at Emmanuel because this church and it’s leadership is committed to seeing the youth of this generation built up to be a generation that will impact this world for Jesus Christ.  I have been involved in many different types of ministries from inner-city to rural, which has prepared me for the diverse group of teens that currently attend our youth group.  I was born in Asheville, NC but grew up most of my life just down M-15 in Clarkston.  I went to Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids and received a degree in Youth Ministry with a minor in Greek (yes only a minor, it is still Greek to me).  I am currently married to my wonderful wife Laura and have two daughters: Allie (13) and Erin (8) who are always there to keep my heart tender.  I am a sports fanatic, however, I have always had a geeky side to me. I like to build computers, watch Star Trek and do other nerdy stuff (yep I am a walking oxymoron).  My greatest desire is to see teens begin to make their identity in Christ and to become Godly men and women.
